The Simplest Things

The simplest thing in life are these:
The thought of your hair in the breeze,
Dreams of your kisses as you tease,
And laughter that makes time freeze;
To make the moment last.

The simplest things, for our hearts to fall,
Are kind, loving, sweet, yet small.
Though you act on your own heart call,
You go out of your way to do them all;
To make me feel loved.

The simplest things, in our love divine,
Are that my our pasts are coarse, yet our future, fine.
The world is your, as long as you're mine,
And as long as our fates are intertwine;
Hopefully for a lifetime.

Yet the simplest things, for you and I,
We always manage to lightly imply.
What will make us laugh, and make us cry,
And all the things we have yet to try.
Because we love each other.
